Wanna get in touch? Let's talk

Hi There!

I am a geomatics technician specializing in GIS, remote sensing and land surveying based in Florence, Italy

Let's know
our world!

With more than seven years of experience in geo-referenced data management and with a passion for applying technologies to the study of territory and with both corporate and academic research experience

Geographic Information System (GIS)

From the integration of complex databases to advanced spatial modelling. I transform vector and raster data into decision-making maps, optimising land management and the analysis of geographical phenomena.

Remote Sensing

Environmental monitoring through the processing of multispectral data from major satellite constellations (Sentinel, Landsat). I analyse vegetation indices, land cover changes and ecosystem dynamics to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date overview.

Photogrammetry

Metrical reconstruction of reality through image surveying. I generate textured 3D models, high-resolution orthophotos and high-precision digital elevation models (DEMs), ensuring an accurate digital twin for every type of environment.

Cartography

Cartography is the intersection of scientific rigour and aesthetics. I produce specialist and thematic cartographic outputs, which have won international awards, to communicate complex geographical data in a clear and engaging way.

LiDAR

Management and classification of large point clouds from laser scanners (MLS) or drone (UAV). I extract digital terrain models (DTMs), digital surface models (DSMs) and vector features with a high degree of automation and detail.

WebGIS

I bring geographical data to the browser. I develop interactive WebGIS platforms for sharing and viewing data, making geographical information accessible, dynamic and ready for decision-making.

    Testimonials

I had the pleasure of being the co-rapporteur of Giulio's three-year Thesis, and I must say that on that occasion he demonstrated his ability to deal with complex problems with perseverance and insight, committing himself far beyond what was necessary.

He masters technical tools very well and knows how to apply them to concrete cases.

Fabio NardiniPresident at the Order of Architects PPC of Lucca

I had the pleasure of being Giulio's university tutor for two consecutive years in two different annual workshops, one in urban planning, one in regional planning. During this time he has proven to be an extremely versatile person who is always willing to put himself out there.
He has a sharp and curious mind, a passionate spirit, a practical sense and a great desire to give "the extra touch" to the simple task required.

    Marina ViscianoPhD, Teacher at MIUR

Excellent student; willing to learn. Great commitment to individual and group work. Remarkable spirit of collaboration. In his work he shows a pronounced passion for what he does.
Excellent element to work with. Grit and willingness are strengths along with a marked inventiveness and graphic care in the work done and in its presentation.
